Allied was recently awarded a wayfinding project with the City of Hartford to fabricate & install wayfinding signage in 40 various parks across the city. The signage scope included 7 different sign types that could be used throughout the many parks to communicate park history, maps, directional information, site amenities, park regulations and educational/environmental information to residents and park visitors.

Each park was unique in its history and layout, so communicating and effectively identifying their location was critical to the parks’ identity.  Allied worked closely with ToDesign to layout all information for the custom builds in a meaningful way that will have lasting appeal.

Due to the scope of the project, the wayfinding package was split into two phases to allow greater focus on each during the course of the project.  We are looking to complete this project in the Summer of 2020 which coincides with Hartford Parks high season.

Allied was offered another opportunity to work with Passaic County on additional wayfinding in and throughout the county. Signage was placed at key points of entry into the county as well as Goffle Brook Park, Weasel Brook Park and Dey Mansion. Signs were mounted to custom poles and brickwork to match area architecture. Featured attractions were spotlighted to those passing through.

In addition to working with Passaic in the past, we have also worked closely with Merje, who designed this package. Many designers look to showcase key elements that their customers are most drawn to. Allied worked closely with Merje/Passaic to draw out those features and benefits through fabrication, while applying classic sign structure details required in wayfinding.

Ocean First Bank, a long-term customer of Allied, partnered with us again to convert all of their Two River Banks in New Jersey to Ocean First Bank as of late May 2020.  Allied worked closely to identify each location’s allowable signage requirements prior to providing shop drawings to reflect Ocean First Bank’s classic identity guide throughout their converted properties.  This can prove challenging when previously owned branches are not consistent with architecture/branding.  Given the fast pace of the  banking industry, Allied converted the branding over the weekend allowing for a seamless process for the bank and it’s customers.

With many years of experience with this client, and understanding Ocean First Bank’s desired vision, Allied successfully installed all 9 branches as can be seen below.  This project includes Ocean First Bank’s exclusive branding on monuments, channel letters, wall cabinets, post and panels signs and window vinyl.

In collaboration with our gaming partner KGM Gaming and with Resort’s World, Allied Signage designed and manufactured the entire signage program at Resorts World Catskills. The project included Brand Identity Illuminated Logos, Entrance Monuments, Interior and Exterior Wayfinding, Venue/Retail brand identification, ADA Signage, Regulatory Signage, Hotel Patron Signage, BOH Room IDs and more.

With an important opening day deadline to meet, it was crucial that all the phases of this project be on schedule so that installation did not conflict with the projected grand opening.   Project management and our installation crew worked closely with both Resorts World and the general contractor to ensure all facets of the installation married with overall timing and objectives.

Allied prides itself on both quality and design of the sign products we offer.  We create to enhance our customer’s respective environment by using colors, texture, style and lighting.  Size and placement of the signs are key to communicating context and comfort to patrons who will continue to frequent Resorts World.
